Although we are unable to meet in person, we still believe that Sunday School is vitally important. Our ministerial staff will be recording two lessons each week that will follow the cirruculum schedule for Bible Studies for Life and Explore the Bible. We encourage you to focus on continuing to be in community with the people of your small group. Here are a few ways that you and your group can continue in community together as you study God's Word and pray for one another:
- Set aside a time that you and your group are going to view the lesson together – and interact with one another as you do so.
- Teachers can teach the lesson themselves by utilizing apps like facetime. This would enable your small group to have live interaction with one another.
- If your small group has a facebook page, there is a feature called "Watch Party." You can save one of the lessons, or even one of Pastor Doug's sermons, and watch together with discussion about what is being taught.
However you choose to interact is up to you. These are just a few ideas for how you might be able to use technology. The most important thing is that you are interacting with each other in some way as you study God's Word.
