LifeWize   A program to provide healthy decision making, goal setting and life skills in the areas of abstinence, prenatal and baby care, and teen parenting to high school and middle school students in metro area schools.  We need men and women who can give an hour each week to facilitate and mentor students through this program.  Training is provided.  Contact Hope Pregnancy Center, 688-8700, for more information.


Attention All Ladies   Women of Faith’s “Over the Top” is coming to Oklahoma City, November 11-12.  Buy your tickets Sunday, September 11, through October 2, at the Kiosk at Door 11.  The cost is $89, which includes lunch both days.

What’s Coming Up?   September 17 - All Sunday School Leadership Training with Josh Hunt


Date Night September 23   6:30 to 9:30.  $5 per child or $20 family max.  For children birth through 6th grade.  Register at the Children’s Welcome Desk by Sunday, September 18.


Mini Fall Festivals   are being planned throughout Moore and Oklahoma City, for Sunday night October 30 (Moore) and Monday night (Oklahoma City).  Last year our church reached out into neighborhoods throughout this area to over 20,000 people.  Watch for more info in the days ahead or call Linda Myers, 682-1636.


Youth Bible Study   Every Wednesday night.  Prayer at 5:00 p.m. in the Senior Room; worship begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Southouse.  Now through September 28 - “What does it mean to TREASURE CHRIST?”  Pray for our students September 28, as they attend See You At The Pole.


Child Care Workers   Paid child care workers needed for MOPS meetings Thursday mornings two times each month and some Sunday and Wednesday evenings.  Call Donna Beard for more information.

Let’s Go Shopping!   Girls just wanna have funds!  All ladies are invited to join us for a shopping trip to Canton, Texas.  We will leave Friday, September 30, at 5:00 a.m., and return Saturday, October 1, at 9:00 p.m.  The cost of $70.00 includes chartered bus transportation, snack, and hotel (Best Western Plus with full breakfast).  Make your reservation now!


Deacon Nomination Forms   Available at the Welcome Center, South Entrance and East Entrance.


Flu Shots   Available for those 18 and older.  Sunday, September 25, beginning at 7:30 a.m., in the Library/Media Center.  Sign up now at the Welcome Center.  The cost is $7.00.  For those six months to 18 years old, the cost is $12.00.  Please contact the church office, 682-1636, to request shots for children.


MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)   Beginning Thursday, September 8 -- meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.  For more info, call Kenna Gathright at 249-6748, or Stacy Ryans at 642-5206.


Preschool Moms   Are you planning to be a part of this year’s MOPS?  Please drop by the Children’s Welcome Desk and sign up for child care for your preschooler.  We want to make adequate preparation for MOPPETS child care.
