I was born and raised in Seminole, Oklahoma. At the age of eight, I accepted Christ into my life, and at the age of 14, God confirmed a call for me to pursue full time ministry. I attended Seminole High School, where I graduated in 1996. Then, I received a degree in youth ministry from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2001. I met my wife (Courtney Gerber) at Falls Creek in 2001, and we were married on December 27, 2002. We are blessed with two girls: Logann and Merritt.

I was called into the ministry at age 14 while I attended Super Summer Oklahoma. I have been serving in the church for the past 13 years as a youth minister.

At the age of eight, I came into a saving relationship with Jesus on a night that my father was filling the pulpit at Harvey Road Baptist church in Seminole, Oklahoma. By the end of my father's sermon, I knew that I needed Jesus in my life. After walking forward, I accepted Jesus and was baptized the following week by my dad.
